Group Purchasing Organization
We are pleased to announce that as part of CMP’s affiliation with Catholic Health, you are eligible to participate in their Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) operated by GNYHA Services and Henry Schein Medical as the distributor of health care products and solutions.
We have piloted with a small group of CMP practices, with the preliminary results showing a reduction in costs between 15% and 25%. We are confident that through this collaborative effort, we are positioned to reduce costs, increase order delivery efficiencies, and improve the overall bottom line for our member practices.
Your participation will give you access to a complete portfolio of medical/surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, laboratory supplies, office supplies, and equipment as well as training, including CMEs and OSHA programs.
If your practice elects to participate, we will work closely with your team to ensure a smooth transition. Regular updates, along with a summary detailing the cost-savings potential, will be shared with all participants in the GPO.

As a member of a physician-hospital organization (PHO), you have access to the GNYHA Services Physician Practice Purchasing Solution—a purchasing program specific to your needs. The solution includes two components—a Medical Supply Program and Non-Medical Supply Program.
You will have access to a variety of benefits, including:

- Employee discounts for non-medical products and services
- Web-based access to the GNYHA Services/Premier contract catalog
